Pick up from Jammu Airport and transfer to Katra (50 Kms/1.5 Hours). Spend rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Katra.
Early morning, proceed for the Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan, a popular pilgrimage site in the Trikuta mountains at 5,200 feet. The 12 km trek from the Ban Ganga base camp or the 2.5 km trek from Sanji Chhat (for helicopter passengers) can be navigated using local auto-rickshaws to the base, with battery cars, cable cars, ponies, palkis, and porters available to assist pilgrims. After performing darshans, visit Bhairo Temple if time permits, then return to Katra for an overnight stay.
Early morning after breakfast, proceed for Amritsar (250 Kms/4-5 Hours) which is spritual centre of Sikhism and home to Shri Harminder Sahib (Golden Temple). Visit India-Pakistan Wagah border and watch the famous retreat ceremony which is performed at this place every evening before sunset. Overnight stay at Amritsar.
After breakfast, visit the Golden Temple, renowned for its unique Sikh architecture, sunken level, and four gates. Next, explore the adjacent Jallianwala Bagh, a 1951 national memorial commemorating the 1919 massacre. Continue your tour with visits to the Durgiana Temple, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, and Sadda Pind, where you can immerse yourself in Punjabi culture through local crafts, cuisine, and performances. Finally, transfer to the Amritsar railway station or airport for your departure with lasting memories.
